The Ride or Die Make-up TAG
Hey everyone! Welcome to this make-up tag post. I decided to make this post, which relates to my recent upload “My Skincare Routine On YOU” – although sponsored by Vanity Planet, I do really love their facial brush and it is the perfect exfoliate for my skin. The following links are NOT affiliate links. I just Googled the products and linked them to specific pages so you can find them more easily if you’re interested!
My Favorite Products
Moisturizer- SheaMoisture Moisturizer for Acne Prone Skin
I recently stopped using my beloved Nip & Fab Dragon’s Blood Plumping Serum because it was causing little whiteheads. I would’ve also put my new GlamGlow one but it’s not a great everyday moisturizer and the smell is a little overwhelming sometimes.
Primer- Hot Makeup USA Pores Away
This was an easy pick – I love this product! It’s also Cruelty-Free 🙂
I don’t use foundations and haven’t in almost a year. These BB creams and tinted moisturizers though, have been my favorite for a while now. I use the Dr. Jart+ in Medium Deep and the One & Done in Medium Dark!
Concealer- Nars Concealer
So expensive though! So instead, I’ve been loving Maybelline’s FitMe Concealer (it’s a cheaper alternative. Have you tried NYX’s concealer? I’ve been thinking of trying it but haven’t gotten around to it yet)
Face Powder- None
I’m not in love or obsessed with any face setting powders I’ve been using. The Rimmel Stay Matte one is okay but washes me out and the Ben Nye Luxury Banana Powder is also okay but I’m not crazy about the tint. Any recommendations? Please share in the comments!
Blush- Benefit Rockateur
What a perfect shade of blush for someone with my skin tone! I’m obsessed.
Bronzer- Bourjois Bronzing Powder
This product will forever be a favorite of mine. Mainly because it’s warm-toned and not too intense. It’s just a great bronzer to help return color to your skin after applying your face makeup.
Contour- TopShop Cream Contour Sweep & Too Faced Chocolate Soleil in Medium/Deep
I have listed a cream version and a powder version. The TopShop Cream Contour is pricey though! I’ve been using the E.L.F Cream Foundation palette in its place recently.
Highlight- Wet & Wild Illuminating Palette
I never gave highlighting a chance until I tried this palette and I think it was the perfect introduction to highlighting for me.
Mascara- Essence Lash Princess
Forever & always (or until I find something better, which I haven’t in over a year)!
Lipliner- NYX Lip Pencil in Mauve
I use this constantly. I really like how unique the color is.
I’ve tried Kylie Cosmetics, Jeffree Star, Coloured Raine, ColourPop, LimeCrime and LA Splash and I love Gerard Cosmetics’ liquid lipstick the most. They are long lasting but don’t dry out my lips like Kylie Cosmetics does. DNA Cosmetics is great as well but I think they’re more drying than Gerard Cosmetics’.
Lipstick- Kiko Cosmetics
I haven’t been wearing a ton of lipstick recently but Kiko Cosmetics’ are definitely my go-to for when I do.
Lip gloss- NARS
Their Larger than Life lipgloss in Spring Break IS LIFE.
Eyeshadow Palette- Juvia’s Place
I’m STILL not over the pigmentation.
Setting Spray- Mario Badescu Aloe & Rosewater Facial Spray
I love the way it smells!
Perfume- Amazing Grace & Creed Aventus
Makeup brush- Beauty Blender
Does that count as a brush? Since I’ve used it I can’t imagine using anything else to be honest.
Face Mask- Boscia Charcoal Pore Pudding
My new favorite! I love this product and it’s definitely helped minimize my breakouts and the size of blemishes.
Hair Mask- MoroccanOil Intense Hydrating Hair Mask
WHAT A PRODUCT! Most $ I ever spent on a hair mask but so, so worth it.
